Before becoming a full-time journalist, Marnell Jameson taught writing and
public relations at UCLA. For nine years she served as an instructor in the
university’s Extension program, where she was one the department’s most popular
writing instructors. She also founded and served as president of Jameson
Communications Group, an award-winning public relations agency. She sold the
agency after running it for 12 years to pursue her journalism career. Having
worked on both sides of the media and in the classroom makes her a sought-after,
knowledgeable and engaging seminar leader and speaker.
Today, she frequently speaks to groups as both a guest speaker and panelist.
In addition, she travels all over the country to deliver her WRITE RIGHT writing
seminars to both public relations firms and businesses that care about
communicating well. Seminars range from one to five days.
