• Grammar Review for Those Who Forgot – or Weren’t Listening

This seminar offers an intensive review of grammar, logic and rhetoric. It’s for everyone who either had teachers who didn’t believe in teaching grammar, or who learned the essentials but forgot. This is a fun – honest – and lively review of English and writing fundamentals.

Outcome: Participants will leave with a strong sense of their strengths and weaknesses in terms of how they use the English language. They will emerge with a clear understanding of the seven parts of speech, and proper sentence mechanics. This seminar will once and for all put to rest their grammar gremlins.

Writers who want a personalized critique of their work may send in a writing sample (up to three pages) before the training workshops. After reviewing the writer’s work, Jameson will meet with the writer for 20-30 minutes to discuss his or her writing, then work with the writer to improve areas of weakness. Writers will leave with written comments on their work, relevant exercises and resources as needed.
